Drum

I have been playing drums for over ten years as self-taught musician, except for a brief period when I learned basic skills from my instructor, Denis Militello. My passion for drumming was kindled by the deep sound of drums themselves: day by day I felt the growing need to beat something at any cost! My main interest in music is to write original songs, that's the reason why I have always hated tribute bands. Over the years, I played with several bands: Avatar (heavy metal), Flegias (prog/power metal) and Highlord (Power Metal), with which I recorded the album "Heir of Power". Later, I joined Raw Evil (thrash metal), that played as opening act for Necrodeath at Siddharta Club, in Prato; then I played with Ghoul (black/death metal) and Tipheret (death metal), with which I recorded "War, Sex & Magick". I also recorded a single ("Harmonic Hours") with electronic rock act Seem To Madden, the EP "Lovecrash" with glam rockers Hollywood Killerz and a single, entitled "Do Not Know Why", with a reggae band named The Wisdom Back. I was also involved in many other projects as session musician. After a break, I started to play again with four new acts: Amethista, a well-established band devoted to ethereal black/gothic metal; the Obsend, a four-piece that plays a kind of techno-experimental death metal, furious and emotional at the same time; the Stars' Monks, energetic hard-rock/metal group, and Radiodora, a project close to classic Italian rock.
